Campaigns and rewards

A company is your business workspace. A campaign is one affiliate offer inside that company, with its own name, destination website, reward agreements, and participants. The same person can join more than one campaign, but each participation and its financial history remain separate.

If you have not created your company yet, start with the Quickstart.

Create your first campaign during onboarding, or open Campaigns in your merchant workspace to create another.

  • Campaign name identifies the offer to you and your affiliates.
  • Campaign website is where the offer sends visitors. Use the actual referral destination, including https:// or http://.
  • Sales history starts sets the history start for the campaign. The onboarding form defaults to today when left blank. Choosing an earlier history start does not backdate the initial reward agreement, which starts when you create the campaign.

Campaign profile details and reward agreements are separate. Use Edit profile for profile changes; use Schedule agreement for later changes to commission terms.

Reward type What to enter How it works
Percentage of payment A commission percentage from 0 to 100 The percentage applies to the whole eligible payment after discounts and excluding tax.
Fixed amount per payment A positive amount and its currency, such as USD Each eligible payment earns the fixed reward, subject to refunds and your campaign limits. The payment currency must match the reward currency.

For example, a 20% agreement on a payment with a $100 commission basis earns $20 before any later adjustment. A fixed $10 USD agreement earns $10 for an eligible USD payment; it does not convert that reward into another currency.

Rewards are payment-based, not product-specific. Refunds and disputes can change the commission after it is first recorded. A fixed reward is not exempt from these adjustments. See Attribution and commissions for payment evidence and balance behavior.

Holding period (days) delays availability from when LiftVector first confirms the payment. It is not a payout schedule. Choose a period appropriate for your refund and review process; later refunds or disputes can still change earnings after the hold ends.

Two optional limits control customer-wide rewards:

  • Maximum commissions per customer limits the number of qualifying payments in the customer’s attributed history that can earn commission.
  • Maximum commission period (months) limits rewards to payments before the end of the selected number of months from the first qualifying payment in that history. It is not measured from the date you invited the affiliate or created the campaign.

Leave a limit blank for unlimited. If both are set, a payment must satisfy both. For example, a count of 3 and a period of 12 months restrict rewards to the first three qualifying payments within that period.

These limits require a connection that supports customer-wide attribution history. A connection limited to a subscription or an individual payment cannot supply that history, and a campaign without a connection cannot use these limits. Do not assume that every connected provider supports them.

Open a campaign and review Currently effective agreement before making changes. Choose Schedule agreement, enter the new terms and effective time, and save.

Past agreements stay unchanged. A sale uses the agreement selected for its payment time, and later scheduled terms do not replace the terms already attached to that sale. New agreements cannot be backdated; an identical effective time conflicts with an existing agreement.

The campaign’s Reward agreements list includes past and scheduled agreements. Scheduling a future agreement does not make it the currently effective agreement immediately.

Open the campaign’s Affiliates page to view its participants. Claimed means the participation is linked to an account; Unclaimed means it is not yet linked. Campaign participation does not grant access to your merchant workspace.

Choose Invite affiliates to prepare an email batch for one campaign:

  1. Paste email addresses separated by commas, semicolons, spaces, or line breaks, or upload a CSV with an email column. A batch supports up to 250 unique recipients.
  2. Enter a subject and a plain-text message. LiftVector adds the campaign identity and invitation action.
  3. Select Review invitation batch and check the recipients, campaign, sender, and email preview.
  4. If setup blocks sending, open Email Setup, complete it, and review the batch again. Your draft remains on the invitation page.
  5. Confirm that every recipient specifically opted in to affiliate invitations from your company, then select Queue reviewed batch.

Only invite people who have given that specific consent. See the anti-spam requirements.

For an existing unclaimed affiliate, open its detail page and create a 48-hour signup link in the Invitation section. LiftVector does not email this individually generated link; deliver it securely to the intended recipient yourself.

An invitation is tied to its intended account email and campaign. Existing users must sign in to that account to join. An expired, already accepted, or disabled invitation cannot be reused; issue a new invitation where the participation is still eligible. A public referral link is not an invitation or a login credential.

Add affiliate creates a new affiliate login and claimed campaign participation using the name, email, and password you provide. You must securely share those credentials yourself; LiftVector does not send them. An existing account should join by invitation instead of being attached by an email match.

After joining, affiliates can open their campaign in the affiliate portal to access its sharing information and their own financial records. Complete Website integration and verify a referred purchase before asking partners to send traffic.

Stop new participation without erasing history

Section titled “Stop new participation without erasing history”

Use Disable campaign on the campaign detail page when you need to stop new campaign activity. A disabled campaign does not accept new affiliates. You can also use Disable affiliate on an individual participant’s detail page.

Disabling is not deletion of past participation or financial history. It does not erase recorded commissions or settle payment obligations. Keep reviewing existing sales, adjustments, and balances.

LiftVector’s payout records are bookkeeping: you send money outside LiftVector and record the completed payment afterward. If a reward or balance looks wrong, start with Troubleshooting.
